Belgrave Community Alcohol Partnership |
||
|
Good afternoon,
We'd like to share an update on our ongoing Community Alcohol Partnership (CAP) and recent workaround promoting responsible alcohol sales and safe nights out in the area.
Last week we conducted a Challenge 25 Operation at local venues and retailers. The initiative reinforces the importance of checking ID for anyone who appears to be under 25 years old, helping to prevent underage sales and maintain a responsible drinking culture within out community.
As part of our wider engagement, PC Kim Thomas and PCSO Josh Spendilow, alongside our colleagues from the NSPCC, attended the Diwali shopping festival at the Ramgarhia, taking the opportunity to speak with members of the community, provide safety advice and strengthen local relationships. It was great seeing so many people celebrating together and supporting local businesses.
As we approach the busy festive season, it's a great time to remind everyone about looking out for one another on nights out. Please find attached two useful resources to share with your teams, friends and community; Ask for Angela and tips for safer nights out.
Together we can help ensure our community remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
Kind regards,
Your local Belgrave Beat Team
